Cryogenic liquid nitrogen reaction cooling systems are highly efficient (<95%), easily achieving temperatures of below -30ºC. Besides, in indirect systems, the nitrogen can be reused for purging and blanketing elsewhere in the plant.

Process cooling for heat control

You can use liquid nitrogen for rapid refrigeration during many production processes, including fluids cooling, removing heat created by grinding, the production of glass bottles and plastics manufacture.

Powder cooling

Liquid nitrogen can also be used to prevent problems arising during manufacturing processes. For example, in detergent manufacture, spray drying with liquid nitrogen prevents the powder lumping together and ensures that additives don’t evaporate. And temperature-controlled nitrogen gas can also help ensure active Pharmaceutical ingredients don’t degrade during sterile grinding processes.
